"Heroes in the field"

Sander Schoonbeek (1983) travels the world looking for abandoned, rusty cars from the last century. He photographed these "heroes in the field" already in the United States, Japan, Great Britain and Europe.
He then screenprints his photographs on a delicate, brown paper and finally adds colour by using an airbrush technique.

His works are available at Kunstuitleen Maastricht at the Rechtstraat 50. Recently, Sander started to print his works on brushed alumunium, which he later airbrushes. These spectacular new works can also be seen at Kunstuitleen Maastricht.
